  • 1/3 cup buttermilk pork-apple-salad-w-blue-cheese
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 boneless pork loin chops (about 12 ounces total), cut ¾ inch thick
  • 2 teaspoons snipped fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 cups torn mixed salad greens
  • 2 medium apples and/or thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted (optional)
